 RSC Meetings

 Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of         every month, 7pm at our Clubhouse.

 

 Range Gate and Lock
 Opened while using the Range, Locked when you leave the Range year round
until further notice. Keys are for members only! Shoot only at Club approved Targets using target stands No!! pallets!

 

Range and Shoots "Think Safety"

Please do not move the targets from in front of the berms, they are there for SAFTEY!

Do Not put live rounds in the trash can!!!

 

   Range Rules "Raymond Sportsman's Club"                                                             

1)      Range Is for the Use of RSC Members, Their Guests and Raymond Police only.                                                              2) Shoot Only from Benches or Edge of Concrete Firing Platform on the Rifle range.
3) Make Certain Range Is Clear and Red "Range Hot" Flag Is Flying When Using the Rifle or Pistol Range.
4) Shoot Only at Club Approved Targets. (I.E. Paper or Cardboard)
5) All Loaded Firearms Will Be Pointed down Range.
6) All Unloaded Firearms Will Be Visually Checked, Placed in the Rack or Cased.
7) All Firearms Will Be Visually Checked and Stowed Before Anyone Is Permitted down Range.
8) All Brass, Unfired Rounds, Trash Etc., Will Be Picked Up and Disposed of in Appropriate Locations.
9) No Alcoholic Beverages Are Allowed at the Range.
10) All Common Sense Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Adhered to by All Present

Dues are due as of April 1, 2009. There is a $25.00 charge when you pay your dues. If you complete the required 12 hours of service next year the $25.00 will be carried over. If you don’t fill the number of hours required per the By-laws, you will be charged again. Senior dues are $48.00. Regular member’s dues are $96.00. Remember you either have to be an NRA member or pay the equivalent amount to the club $10.00. If you pay your dues via mail please send a stamp along with the dues. Thank you Franklin C. Any change of address or other information you have please let RSC know so we can get in contact with if needed, or mail the newsletter.

 

Someone has been using pallets @ the range.

The club provides target stands please use them NOT pallets.

 

Deer Pool is closed, so far Steve Hopper has in state at 143 pounds and out of state is Tim Layman with 142.

 

50th Anniversary of Raymond Sportsman’s Club was a great success; a good time was had by all. The slide show brought a visual history to the newer members and a lot of memories to the long time ones. Thanks to all who help us put the celebration together.

 

Game Dinner 

Postponed  to April 17, 2010 we will have our Annual Game Dinner @ 6 p.m. After dinner will have the annual gift raffles. Please if you bring a dish that needs a serving utensil bring one, we have a limited supply.

 

Annual clean-up starts April 10th 8 am until done, lunch will be served on RSC.

 

Archery The next shoot is scheduled for May 9th. July 4th, & August 29th.

 

Bow and Hunter Ed.  

Bow Hunter Ed. will be held May 8th  

Hunter Ed. field days April 24th & August 28th

 

Horseshoes will be held on Tuesday night at 5:30 starting on 4/27.

 

Kitchen

The kitchen will be serving lunch at the spring clean-up and be open for all hunter and bow ed. classes, also GSB shoots.

 

Spacetown Beagles next field trial May 1 & 2, 2010.

 

RSC Tee shirts Steve Robbins is collecting orders for club tee shirt, he will be at the spring clean-up or call him at 603-734-2541.

 

Town Fair will be 7/9, 10 & 11 as usaual we will be running our Bingo tent. Come sign sign up to work it, new members it’s a way to earn hours need fast.

 

Work Parties starting up again Wednesday April 14th from 5 pm to dusk. If you can’t make it at 5:00, show up when you can.
