RSC Meetings

Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7pm at our Clubhouse.


Range Gate and Lock
Opened while using the Range, Locked when you leave the Range year round
until further notice.

Please do not leave trash on the range.

July 23, 2006 “Balloon Bust” Rifle Shoot

We had a nice day with a good breeze to move the balloons around. We had a good time and plenty of laughs. We hit balloons from 25 yards out to 150 yards. Thanks to all who came out to shoot.  Bill

 

Range Rules "Raymond Sportsman's Club"

1) Range Is for the Use of RSC Members, Their Guests and Raymond
P.D. Only.
2) Shoot Only from Benches or Edge of Concrete Firing Platform on the
Rifle Range.
3) Make Certain Range Is Clear and Red "Range Hot" Flag Is Flying When
Using the Rifle or
Pistol Range.
4) Shoot Only at Club Approved Targets. (I.E.. Paper or Cardboard)
5) All Loaded Firearms Will Be Pointed down Range.
6) All Unloaded Firearms Will Be Visually Checked, Placed in the Rack or
Cased.
7) All Firearms Will Be Visually Checked and Stowed Before Anyone Is
Permitted down Range.
8) All Brass, Unfired Rounds, Trash Etc., Will Be Picked Up and Disposed
of in Appropriate Locations.
9) No Alcoholic Beverages Are Allowed at the Range.
10) All Common Sense Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Adhered to by All Present.

Hunter Education Instructors

There will a meeting August 16 at 6 o’clock at the club. Please attend.

 

Bingo

This year’s BINGO was one of the most successful financially having grossed about $3,400.  Approximately 20 volunteers made the three day event another success.  Great weather and great cooperation by all kept the games going at full swing.  One “cover-all” game paid over $50.00 Thanks to all who helped us.

 

Annual Pig Roast

It’s that time again, our annual Pig Roast will be held on September 2nd. Donations $5.00 per person $10.00 per family, to cover costs. A good time for all.

 

Deer Pool is open

$10 each for in state and out of state deadline September 6th

Recreation

The all day deep sea fishing trip that is planned for September 24th is full.  People that have not paid the $20.00 deposit make out to Raymond Sportsman’s Club, mail to the club or pay at the next meeting. For more details call John Lighthall @ (603) 887-1835

 

We need suggestions for activities next year, if you have some please come to a meeting and voice it. One has already been suggested, a group camping/canoe weekend at Pawtuckaway State Park. Another Sunday breakfast again. We could use your input.

 

ARCHERY

Preparing for GSB shoot on Sept. 2nd. Shoot has two loops with 30 targets, so bring your bow. Children shooters are also welcome. Don’t forget the pig roast afterwards. Claude is looking for help with the grill for this event.

                                                                                        Wednesday Work Parties                  Starting April 12th work parties will begin, every Wednesday with no meetings. 5 pm till dusk, if you can’t show up at 5 show up at 6. This is a good way to earn hours.
