 RSC Meetings

 Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of         every month, 7pm at our Clubhouse.

 

 Range Gate and Lock
 Opened while using the Range, Locked when you leave the Range year round
until further notice. Keys are for members only! Shoot only at Club approved Targets!

 

Range and Shoots "Think Safety"

Please do not move the targets from in front of the berms, they are there for SAFTEY!

Do Not put live rounds in the trash can!!!

 

   Range Rules "Raymond Sportsman's Club"                                                             

 1)  Range Is for the Use of RSC Members, Their Guests and Raymond Police only.                                                              2) Shoot Only from Benches or Edge of Concrete Firing Platform on the Rifle range.
3) Make Certain Range Is Clear and Red "Range Hot" Flag Is Flying When Using the Rifle or Pistol Range.
4) Shoot Only at Club Approved Targets. (I.E. Paper or Cardboard)
5) All Loaded Firearms Will Be Pointed down Range.
6) All Unloaded Firearms Will Be Visually Checked, Placed in the Rack or Cased.
7) All Firearms Will Be Visually Checked and Stowed Before Anyone Is Permitted down Range.
8) All Brass, Unfired Rounds, Trash Etc., Will Be Picked Up and Disposed of in Appropriate Locations.
9) No Alcoholic Beverages Are Allowed at the Range.
10) All Common Sense Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Adhered to by All Present

Deer Pool is closed, so far Steve Hopper has in state at 143 pounds and out of state is Tim Layman with 142.

 

The holiday party was a great success. We had 45 people with 32 partisapating with the yankee swap.

 

Game Dinner 

On February 27th 2010 we will have our Annual Game Dinner @ 6 p.m. After dinner will have the annual gift raffles. 

 

50th Anniversary of Raymond Sportsman’s Club is next march 20th. Expect invitation in the mail in a week or two. If anyone has pictures, movies, etc we would be interested. Contact Pres. or Vice-pres. or contact the newsletter the email address or phone # is at the bottom of newsletter. Don’t forget the deadline for the invitation is February 17th.

 

Club Elections

Our annual elections are here again. Nomination for club offices were made on February 3rd meeting and are posted in club. Voting will take place on March 3rd, voting member please come and cast your vote.

 

We give our condolence to the Brackett family as Joe’s mother passed last week.

 

Archery

The GSB shoot on 1/17/10 was Great! We had 84 shooter which 10 were kids. 40 pounds of chili was consumed, the weather was nicer inside than out. Next shoot scheduled for May 9th. July 4th, & August 29th.

 

Bow and Hunter Ed.  

Bow Hunter Ed. will be held May 8th  

Hunter Ed. field days April 24th & August 28th

 

Spacetown Beagles next field trial February 28th, then May 1 & 2, 2010.

 

Newsletter chairperson needed. Harry is stepping down from chairperson of the newsletter the last edition will be March 2010.
