 RSC Meetings

 Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of         every month, 7pm at our Clubhouse.


 Range Gate and Lock
 Opened while using the Range, Locked when you leave the Range year round
until further notice. Keys are for members only!

 

      Range Shoots 2008

July 27th – Open Pistol shoot 25 ft & 50 ft 20 rds total

August 24th – Open Rifle shoot 25-50-100-150 yards

20 rounds total

September 21st   Shotgun Slug Running Deer shoot

50 yards 5 rounds total

October 19th  - Turkey shoot multiples targets birdshot shotgun 5 rounds total

 

June 8, 2008 Clay Target Shoot

1st Place – Charlie Shorten

3rd Place – Steve Hopper

We had a hot and humid day for the first shoot of the year. We had eleven shooters come out for the fun and laughs. Charlie hit twenty-one out of twenty-five with    his dad’s fifty plus year old J.C. Higgins shotgun! (maybe he will let me readjust the sight for him) Thanks to all who shot and helped with the clays. Bill

 

Range and Shoots "Think Safety"

Please do not move the targets from in front of the berms, they are there for SAFTEY!

 

Do Not put live rounds in the trash can!!!

   Range Rules "Raymond Sportsman's Club"                                                             

 1)  Range Is for the Use of RSC Members, Their Guests and Raymond Police only.                                                              2) Shoot Only from Benches or Edge of Concrete Firing Platform on the Rifle range.
3) Make Certain Range Is Clear and Red "Range Hot" Flag Is Flying When Using the Rifle or Pistol Range.
4) Shoot Only at Club Approved Targets. (I.E. Paper or Cardboard)
5) All Loaded Firearms Will Be Pointed down Range.
6) All Unloaded Firearms Will Be Visually Checked, Placed in the Rack or Cased.
7) All Firearms Will Be Visually Checked and Stowed Before Anyone Is Permitted down Range.
8) All Brass, Unfired Rounds, Trash Etc., Will Be Picked Up and Disposed of in Appropriate Locations.
9) No Alcoholic Beverages Are Allowed at the Range.
10) All Common Sense Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Adhered to by All Present
    

 NOTICE:  At the Rifle range someone has been shooting coffee & tobacco cans, toy figurines. These are not appropriate targets! This is our club, let’s keep it safe and clean. Officers phone numbers are at club house in glass case, please get plate # at least.

 

 

 

                            

Bingo

The time is coming to make plans to help the Club out with Bingo at the Town Fair on July 10, 11, 12, & 13TH. This is an important event to raise money. The sign up sheet is up at the club, a good way to help the club and get a bunch of hours fast.

 

Kitchen

The Kitchen Committee is serving during the GSB shoot on July 6th    

 

Horseshoes

Joe Brackett is starting horseshoes on Saturday mornings at 9am.

 

Hunter & Bow Safety.

Hunter Ed. August 30th

Instructor classes in Holderness are Hunter Ed. 7/12, Bow Ed. 8/9. Contact Lisa at 603-271-3214.

 

Archery

GSB shoot on July 6th, range will be closed during event.

 

Something new

A proposal of a monthly 50/50 was discussed and soon two boxes will be at the range. One will have slips of paper and paper clip in it, the other will be locked with a slot. Write your key/membership number on the slip clip a dollar to it drop it in the slot. Advisory board members will empty frequently.  Drawing will be second meeting of each month. Good luck!

Building Committee

Thanks to the people that helped out on the roof coating on the metal roof it will continue during Wednesday night work parties. Attention: There is now a labeled switch at the hot water tank to turn on & off the tank before and after use, to conserve energy.

 

Spacetown Beagles

The SBC had annual elections; Kelly LeBlanc for President and Richie Houde for vice- president.

Boy scouts

 July 7th thru the 11th cub scout day camp will be held at our club.

Wednesday Work Parties      

Work parties are start up again on the Wednesday nights that we have no meeting, come at 5pm (or when you can get there) till dusk. It gets things done and builds fellowships, or you might find where the big ones are biting.
