 RSC Meetings

 Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of         every month, 7pm at our Clubhouse.


 Range Gate and Lock
 Opened while using the Range, Locked when you leave the Range year round
until further notice. Keys are for members only! Shoot only at Club approved Targets!

 

Range and Shoots "Think Safety"

Please do not move the targets from in front of the berms, they are there for SAFTEY!

 

Do Not put live rounds in the trash can!!!

   Range Rules "Raymond Sportsman's Club"                                                             

 1)  Range Is for the Use of RSC Members, Their Guests and Raymond Police only.                                                              2) Shoot Only from Benches or Edge of Concrete Firing Platform on the Rifle range.
3) Make Certain Range Is Clear and Red "Range Hot" Flag Is Flying When Using the Rifle or Pistol Range.
4) Shoot Only at Club Approved Targets. (I.E. Paper or Cardboard)
5) All Loaded Firearms Will Be Pointed down Range.
6) All Unloaded Firearms Will Be Visually Checked, Placed in the Rack or Cased.
7) All Firearms Will Be Visually Checked and Stowed Before Anyone Is Permitted down Range.
8) All Brass, Unfired Rounds, Trash Etc., Will Be Picked Up and Disposed of in Appropriate Locations.
9) No Alcoholic Beverages Are Allowed at the Range.
10) All Common Sense Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Adhered to by All Present

We had a day with rain, clouds, and a little cool air kind of like the month of June has been. We had some nice scores only one point from first to second place and only six points to third place. Thanks to all who came to shoot in the rain, and those who helped with targets. See you all at the next shoot.   Bill

 

New England shooters will be using the range for a shoot on July 18th. All club members are welcome to shoot free of charge with a current membership card.

Raffle drawn at September 13th

400 tickets will be sold, $10.00 per ticket prizes are #1 Side by side Shot gun, #2 22 Cal. Rifle, #3 $100.00 Cash. Winner need not be present to win. Prize or equal cash value.

 

Bingo –Raymond Town Fair July 10th, 11th, & 12th. We need your help, volunteers to set up, run the bingo games, and take down the tents. This event helps keep the dues down. Do you need hours? This is easy to do. Come to a meeting and sign up or call a club officer for details.

Day for setting up is Thursday July 9th. We meet at the club at 5PM, load vehicles and set up tents, tables etc.

Friday – July 10th hours are 5PM to 10:30 PM

Saturday – July 11th hours are 9AM to 11:00 PM

Sunday – July 12th hours are 12PM to 4PM plus

To take tents down, etc and bring back to club.

 

Archery

 Upcoming GSB shoots are 7/5, 9/13, & 1/17/10.

 

Bow and Hunter Ed.

The next Hunter Ed class will be on August 29

 

Boy Scouts will be holding its Cub scout days,

From July 6th thru the 11th.

 

Horseshoes

Are on again Saturday mornings at 9 am. Tournament July 25th double elimbation, partner by luck of the draw. $15.00 entry, cash prizes.

RSC Jackets We will be ordering 3 season jacket with a club patch on 1 sleeve and the American flag on the other.  An option for the club name embroidered on the back will be available. Jackets will be ordered by size: small, medium, large etc… A size large will be available to try on for size by request. The order will be sent after the June 3rd meeting.
